Feeding Tampa Bay - Food Sorting

Let's volunteer! We'll inspect, sort, and prepare food for distribution at Feeding Tampa Bay.

Feeding Tampa Bay, part of the national Feeding America network, focuses on providing food to the more than 700,000 hungry in the 10-county area of West Central Florida. They act as our region’s hub for hunger relief and partner with more than 600 local charities and food pantries to distribute emergency food supplies across the region.

MINIMUM AGE
Volunteers between 5 and 16 years old are permitted with a parent or guardian's supervision. Those 16 years and older may volunteer without the supervision of a parent/guardian. Everyone under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign their volunteer waiver (I will provide copies before we volunteer).

DRESS CODE
For safety in the warehouse, please wear closed-toe shoes, shirt with sleeves (no tank tops), and jeans or shorts that are no shorter than the tips of your fingers with your arms hanging naturally by your side. The dress code is based on warehouse safety and is strictly enforced.
